Joseph Rainone

Joe Rainone is a Lieutenant in the Waterbury Police Department.   He earned a BS in Justice and Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University and an MS in Forensic Science from the University of New Haven.

Joe grew up next door to Chris, and the two became lifelong friends. Joe had the pleasure of seeing Chris grow up to become the man whose memory is cherished by so many.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Peter Morgan

Pete Morgan has been a member of the Waterbury Police Department for 20 years and is currently a Detective assigned to the Computer Crimes Unit, a position he has held since 2009. Pete also owns and operates a digital forensics business, Cyber Recovery Solutions, LLC, and is currently pursuing a MS in Digital Forensics Science from Champlain College.

Pete worked closely alongside Chris for several years while they were assigned to the Patrol Division. Later, the two continued their close relationship as Chris went on to supervise the Detective Division and then become Deputy Chief.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”small-text” css=”.vc_custom_1518311186899{background-color: #ffffff !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

John Ambrozaitis, Jr.

John is a partner in the law firm of FitzMaurice & Ambrozaitis, in Waterbury, Connecticut. A graduate of Sacred Heart High School, John graduated with honors from Harvard College with a degree in history. He earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

John also serves on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Club of Southern Connecticut and is the Waterbury-area chairman for its Schools Committee. He was an Adjunct Professor at Post College for 13 years and was formerly Vice President and Treasurer of VNA Health at Home in Watertown. He is currently Trustee of the Parish of St. Blaise and of the Lithuanian Cemetery Association in Waterbury.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Frank Capozzi

Frank Capozzi is a Lieutenant in the Waterbury Police Department and is currently assigned as the Commander of the Juvenile Division.  Frank earned a BS in Finance from Teikyo Post University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Haven.

Prior to graduating from college, Frank served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and was stationed in Japan, California, and Somalia.  Frank was close friends with Chris. He worked closely with him on the Management Team and assisted in the development of the Policy and Procedure Manual for the police department.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Jane M. Lescoe

Jane has been a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher at West Side Middle School in Waterbury for 16 years. Prior to that, Jane was a high school English teacher for 20 years at her alma mater, Griswold High School. Jane graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1982. She served on the Board of Directors at Holy Cross High School for six years and is currently a member of the Waterbury Public Arts Council. She resides in Oakville with her husband, Paul Matasavage, and their bulldog, Pork Chop. Chris was a cherished friend.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

Amanda Casey

Amanda Casey resides in Waterbury with her husband and their two young sons, Tyler and Logan.  In addition to being a stay-at-home mom, she works nights and weekends at Mario’s Restaurant.

Amanda is a graduate of Holy Cross High School. She earned a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. She plans to continue her education and begin a career in the human services field when her children are a little older.

Amanda had been a close friend of Chris and his wife Joanne for many years.

William Covel

William Covel is Deputy Chief of Police of Administration in the Waterbury Police Department. Bill joined the Waterbury Police Department in July 1992. His previous positions include Lieutenant in the Patrol Division; Administrative Captain; Commander of the Criminal Investigations Bureau overseeing the Detective Bureau, Vice and Intelligence Division, and Youth Division; and Acting Assistant Deputy Chief of the Patrol Division commanding all uniformed personnel assigned to the Patrol Division.

Bill attended Northeastern University, where he majored in Criminal Justice.  He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy session 241 in Quantico, Virginia. He was honored with the Waterbury Police Department Medal of Commendation.  He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Waterbury Police Activities League and is a member of FBI National Academy Associates.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

T.J. Oneglia

T.J. Oneglia is Assistant Vice President and Operations Manager for O&G Industries’ Construction Materials Division. Prior to joining O&G, T.J. served for nine years as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. He is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he was the recipient of an NROTC scholarship. He earned a BA in Mathematics and graduated from the college honors program. During his time in college, he was a four-year member of the cross-country and track-and-field teams.  T.J. is proud to have been a friend, roommate, and teammate of Chris Corbett while in college.

T.J. also serves on the Board of Directors of Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust in Woodbury, Connecticut, and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 478 Health and Welfare Benefits Fund.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

Michael Harris

Michael Harris is an Assistant Principal at the Waterbury Career Academy High School.  Michael’s previous professional positions include Assistant Principal at Crosby High School, Central Office Content Supervisor, and social studies teacher at Kennedy High School, North End Middle School, and Holy Cross High School.

Michael earned a BA in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University.

Michael was close friends with Chris, Joanne, and his family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
